Saturday Stirrings

Nothing my Mom cooks can be considered gourmet, but this casserole always disappears fast at family gatherings. There are never leftovers or even second helpings.

Broccoli, Rice and Cheese Casserole

1 cup rice, cooked
3 pkg (10oz. each) frozen broccoli or 1 whole bunch fresh broccoli, cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz

Mix cooked rice, cooked broccoli and soup together in 9×13 baking dish. Put cheese on top. Bake in 350F oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or microwave on high for 10 minutes.

Brocoli & cheez whiz.. can’t get any better than that! My kids call brocoli “trees”.

You just can’t go wrong with cheez whiz. This looks like one way I may be able to get my kids to eat more vegetables!
