My sisters (S and B), our mom and I put together a couples wedding shower for my brother A and soon-to-be new sister K Saturday. We were quite pleased with ourselves that we actually had the decorations done and food on the table at 5pm when the shower was scheduled to start.
The shower was a little unconventional but I think it suited my brother perfectly. We hosted a cookout at his horse barn. Check out the decorations sister S came up with.
We made some easy appetizers, grilled hamburgers and served traditional cookout side dishes. My beautiful Strawberry Cream Trifle (which I couldn’t eat because of my gestational diabetes) disappeared way too fast.
We were very pleased with ourselves and hope that the bride, groom, and guests enjoyed it as much as we did.
